We pride ourselves on the quality of our employees and feel our greatest resource is our past, present and future employees. The screening process for our applicants allows us to best match their skills and training to the positions.

By using the temporary-to-hire program with Skyco Staffing Services, the hiring risk is out of your hands. If you are not satisfied with an employee, we can replace them, and you have not made the investment of hiring them onto your payroll. We cover workers’ compensation and unemployment costs as well as taking away the stress of recruiting and sorting through applicants for the ones who are qualified. Skyco Staffing Services invests in our own employees by providing training and certification for all of our office staff. We can be a resource to you when questions arise about staffing and employment.

Skyco Staffing Services offers a comprehensive range of flexible staffing and placement options to help our clients maximize productivity while controlling costs, including temporary employment, temp-to-hire positions, direct hire expectations and payrolling service.

How much notice do you need to fill an order for a temporary employee?
At Skyco Staffing, we can fill same-day orders in less than an hour. Temp-to-hire and direct hire positions require a more extensive search and the length of time will vary based on the specific requirements of the position. We will always keep you posted on the status of the order.

How much will it cost my company?
The cost to you will vary based on several factors, including account volume, workers’ comp costs, and lead time for our staffing managers. Skyco Staffing Services is committed to providing quality employees to your company at a competitive price.

What does your bill rate include?
The hourly bill rate includes the employee’s wage and all employer costs, including state and federal taxes, social security, Medicare, state and federal unemployment and workers’ compensation. If you choose our direct hire option, you pay the employee directly and pay Skyco a one-time fee.

Do you reference check your employees?
Skyco Staffing Services checks references on every employee before they begin work at our client job site.

How do you evaluate an employee’s skills?
Skyco Staffing Services uses Kenexa ProveIt! Testing system, which gives us the power to identify and select the most qualified employees. We test office, industrial, legal, accounting, call center, technical, financial, foreign language and healthcare positions. We also have the ability to customize any skill assessment to meet the unique needs of our clients.
